Hooray! It's (almost) Halloween! There is no better holiday! What could be better than ghosts, goblins, monsters, dressing up, and getting candy from strangers!?! We've had our Halloween costumes for two weeks now (that's right, we got them in September), and are looking for any excuse to wear them. We're all recovering from the shock of being told that they don't have Halloween parties at school (what?!?). While we absorb that, we'll be putting up decorations and planning what to put in our spook alley.

It's August?!? Already?
But, but, it can't be August! August means that summer is almost over and we have to go back to school, and be on a schedule, and the weather will turn cold, and . . . I'll think about it later.

Hey! How ya doing?
I was in a play. I wore a black wig for most of it. That's a picture of me, in a black wig, in a play.
Hey!
My parents, my brother, my kids, and I went to Disneyland and Universal Studios in California. It was really hot there. It was fun. I paid $3 for a churro. It was yummy. I also paid $6.99 for a personal pan pizza at Pizza Hut at Universal. It was yummy, too. I've got to remember to budget $200 for food alone next time.
Here are some pictures of that vacation. My favorite ride was "Tower of Terror" at California Adventure. Lindsey's favorite ride was "Haunted Mansion." Tyson's favorite ride was "Indiana Jones." We all liked "Jurassic Park" at Universal. I love summer! Too bad it's August and almost over!

2nd week of summer
My day started just right this morning . . . it was the sun streaming into my window that woke me up--not the ALARM!! I love summer!! And today was actually a day with some sunshine.
We're in the process of moving. Well, kind of. I've been taking a tahoe-load of junk at a time to our new place for months now. But we aren't completely living in Soda or Logan now. We are also living in Rigby--at my sister's. We're vagabonds, transients, adventurers . . . never knowing which McDonald's will provide us with our next chicken Mcnuggets. When we are not recuperating in Soda from all the traveling, we are in Logan "moving in." When we are not in Logan or Soda, we're at my sister's. The main reason for this is because my sis and I are providing the choreography for the Rexburg Community Theatre production of "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat." I'm also in the production as Reuben's wife. Our rehearsal schedule is posted at www.rexburgcommunitytheatre.com with our performance dates July 17, 18, and 19.
Anyhoo, we're enjoying summer. Lindsey and Ty survived 4 days with their dad during the 1st week of summer (can't say much more without being charged with libel--but libel is only unlawful when it's untrue). May the sun shine down upon your bodies and tan you without causing any wrinkles!
